Since 1983, Richard Dias Construction, Inc. has been designing and
building uniquely attractive and durable structures in the South Texas
Coastal Bend area. Rather than utilizing a few "cookie-cutter"
designs, Dias Construction works with customers to provide a finished
product in styles from Mediterranean to Modern as well as creating
totally unique designs reflecting the customer's individual vision.
Richard Dias
Construction Co., Inc. is a full service construction company located in
Rockport, Texas since 1983. Previous
to that, Richard Dias was a builder in Ohio from 1972 until moving to
the Rockport area. The
company became incorporated in 1988 to allow for more growth potential. The construction
division handles all facet of construction from feasibility studies,
planning and design, estimating, contracting and completion of homes and
businesses. Renovation projects make up about 40% of the annual business
volume. The company prides
itself on reputation, attention to detail, and architectural class,
design, and workmanship. Included
in that earned reputation, is continued care and service long after the
warranty is released. A
partial list of projects is shown below. The Principal, Richard
Dias, learned the business as a hands-on journeyman carpenter, working
in the field each day. Richard
is also heavily involved in the community, from being past President of
the Little League Association, Chamber of Commerce, the prestigious
Rockport Center for the Arts and the 2002 Recipient of the Chamber’s
“Citizen of the Year” Award.
